Women’s Ministry
GCC women’s ministry exists to promote the spiritual and emotional health of the women of Gwinnett Community Church.
Our desire is to provide a welcoming environment for women to fellowship, worship, study, pray and do life together with Jesus as the focus.
Exalt, Encourage, Engage
God’s word says to encourage one another in love and good deeds, not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
- Hebrews 10:25
Multi-generational opportunities and outlets for women include:
Bible Studies
Biblical & practical application of God’s Word. These studies are designed to engage women who are new to the Word as well as those who desire in-depth study.

Turning Your Heart Toward God
- Meeting in E101
- Wednesdays 6:30-8:15pm, June 14 - July 26
Turning Your Heart Toward God - a 6 week, no homework Bible study (part of the 40-Minute Bible Studies series from Precept Ministries) and led by Lisa Layton
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus identified attitudes that bring God’s favor: weeping over sin, demonstrating meekness, showing mercy, nurturing peace, and more. Some of these phrases have become so familiar that we’ve lost sight of their meaning.
In this powerful study, you will gain a fresh understanding of what it looks like to align your life with God’s priorities. Here you will discover anew why the word blessed means walking in the fullness and satisfaction of God, no matter your circumstances. As you look closely at the meaning behind each of the Beatitudes, you will see how these truths can shape your choices every day and bring you closer to the heart of God.
Workbook: $7.99

LOVE in ACTION
“You should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
–1 Peter 4:10
Love in Action is an extension of Women’s Ministry and was lovingly birthed to fill the needs of our church family when in life-stage transitions and recovering from illness. It is essentially a meals/transportation ministry for those in need. Whether your family has just had a baby, is healing from medical treatment, or in need of transportation for things such as medical appointments, it is the desire of Love in Action’s volunteers to serve you and shower you with love.
